5 AC Tile Collections with a Fall Feeling

Pumpkin-spiced lattes, chunky knit blankets, falling leaves — Fall has finally arrived and there’s nothing better than the taste of nutmeg, the feel of soft wool, or the sound of crunching leaves underfoot.  Whether it’s the collection’s name or color palette, Architectural Ceramics is getting into the seasonal spirit with tile that is fit for fall.

Most of the collections featured here are special order, meaning they take time to arrive from our vendors.  But, just like most of us eagerly await the change in seasons, these fall-inspired tiles are worth the wait.

Atlas

AC’s Atlas Collection, a slate-look porcelain in the color Slate Multicolor.

A porcelain tile that looks like natural slate, our Atlas Collection brings together strength in performance and softness in color.  Porcelain tile is known for being tough.  It’s freeze and frost proof, non-porous, and stain resistant.  Because of high-definition printing, our Atlas Collection is able to achieve a convincing range of movement and color that would be found in nature.

The collection also boasts a range of field sizes and mosaics.  From a large-format 24″x48″ field tile to a 1″x1″ mosaic, this Italian-made porcelain gives you la libertà to create a simple or complex design plan.

When planning which color option to use in your tile renovation, the Slate Multicolor is in keeping with a fall feeling.  Granite Stone has a seaside style to it, while Slate Grey and Slate Black tip the scale toward modern and moody.

Autumn Park

AC’s Autumn Park Collection, a glazed wood-look porcelain in the color Cherry.

We love fall for the autumn-colored leaves that fall off trees.  For a porcelain tile that looks like natural wood, Architectural Ceramics has several collections to choose from.  If your design taste is more traditional, look to our Autumn Park Collection that features modern benefits disguised by a traditional feel.

Cherry, Walnut, Gunstock — The color palette shown to the left, is that of warm, traditional wood tones.  The 6″x36″ plank size is in keeping with a traditionally-laid hardwood floor.

Using wood-look porcelain tile is a great option in wet areas of the home, like a bathroom, where hardwood isn’t an option.  Come the fall rainy season, don’t forget about the mudroom,  where the floor need to stand up to muddy boots.

Blanket

AC’s Blanket Collection, featuring a large-format porcelain and mosaic, shown here in the color Sand.

When there’s a crisp breeze outside, there’s nothing better than cozying up with a warm blanket inside.  Like a large wool throw, this large-format porcelain tile from our Blanket Collection, is sure to leave you feeling warm and fuzzy.

AC’s Blanket Collection, the picket mosaic in the color Sand.

Offered in two sizes and colors, a large-format 16″x32″ field tile or a picket mosaic in either White or Sand, this collection is simple in its options and aesthetic. The picket mosaic reminds us of the weave of a chunky-knit wool blanket.

Our Blanket Collection is also offered at a clearance price.  Just like the seasons change, AC is continually developing our product lines to meet current trends and demands.

Neutral Patch

AC’s Neutral Patch Collection, featuring the decorative floor tile in the color Nero.

It isn’t fall without scrolling through Facebook and seeing little kids in a pumpkin patch.  No two kids or pumpkins are exactly alike.  The same can be said of the decorative tiles from our Neutral Patch Collection.

This collection is unique, because it mixes ceramic wall tile and porcelain floor tile.  The Neutral Patch Collection can give you a patchwork look when using either of the patterned 8″x8″ wall tiles or the 18″x18″ floor tiles.

Along with the patterned tiles, this collection includes large-format field tiles in five soft and neutral colorways.  To view the entire Neutral Patch Collection, download a Datasheet here.

Splash

AC’s glazed ceramic collection, Splash, shown in the color Ocre.

Because of it’s name, you’d think our Splash Collection was better suited as a summer inspiration than fall.  The 4″x12″ glazed ceramic wall tile is available in two color palettes, with twelve color options in total.  The array of cool to warm tones easily transitions your tile project from summer to fall.

Shown above, are the collection’s two color palettes.  The cool Aquamarina and Mare blues have us longing to dip our toes in the ocean, while the warm analogous colors from Ocre to Rosso remind us of long walks in the park while crunching Autumn leaves underfoot.

No matter your season or color palette preference, our Splash Collection allows you to add a splash of color to any tile renovation.  For more installation photos or technical information, download a Datasheet here.
